Title: My impressions of the Visual prompt
Post by: erikafrose on August 02, 2020, 03:41:23 AM

I?ve only done a few visual prompts, so this is a new experience. My first thought was, ?A mountain range and a camper.?
Right away, a character I have been dying to work with started talking to me and I told her to sit the heck down.

Love the use of Tarot cards to help find some of the core ideas for the story - a fresh start definitely seems fitting  :)

Squeeee!

I love it when writers pull out a tarot deck! Someone did this during round 1 too and I thought it was an amazing idea.

Can't wait to see what you cook up!

I've used tarot cards before to help me when I'm stuck, and they can be a great way to dive down deep into your creative instincts. Can you document more of how you use them as you continue developing your story?

Definitely.  I hope to go into each of the readings a bit more. Yesterday I asked ?How did Cami end up here?? And to be fair I definitely read these differently than I would for a client or myself. I may have to do video recordings! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog.

I love it when characters stand up and start jabbering at me! And the tarot deck is such an rarely-used creative tool! I'm hooked. I'm ready to read your story!
