Love the excitement when the helicopter?s coming, and the tidbits of backstory (like the woman who hasn?t seen her husband since before her baby was born.)

I loved it, CM. Great storytelling to fit with the prompted theme. I can't wait to see how you edit it to its finer glory next week.

Ooh, nice job! I enjoyed the numbness to hope, crescendoing to the end. Great job dropping in bits of backstory, too.
