The story has a nice, lyric sound. I like the fantasy styling--feels very high fantasy!

I love the title Megan and how it gave us a good sense of mystery and fantasy in one great short story. I would love to see what you do with the self-edited version next.

I love the title too! I also think for the short story at least, the nameless MC works very well.

This story is super cool! I love the moment of doubt toward the end, the moment of terror, and I love the ritual setting.

Love the style of writing and the worldbuilding! I especially love the last line.
