I must say, friends, that this Writer in Motion thing is a lot of fun. I've completed my self-edits, whittled the story down to below 1,000 words, and posted the thing on my blog:

Loving this story, Dan! Fascinating premise and obviously very polished, professional writing. The ending made me wonder if soldiers from both/all sides of the conflict were coming to the oracle.
