This was so cool! I love how you were able to build a world in so little words, both painting us a visual and dropping hints of how this society work in such a short space. Lovely voice as well.

Name: Kimberly Bea
Preferred Pronouns: She/Her
Bio: Kimberly Bea fell in love with Greek mythology in the fifth grade, a love that led her to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees in Ancient History. A California native, she moved to Minnesota for graduate school and (surprisingly) never left. She has had fiction published in the anthologies Den of Thieves andSpring: Dreams and Nightmares edited by Carol Hightshoe and poetry in the anthology Nothing But Red edited by Skyla Dawn Cameron. A member of SCBWI and Minnesota Speculative Fiction Writers, Kimberly enjoys knitting and crocheting, making beaded jewelry, and belly dance. She is represented by Z.R. Ellor of the Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency.
What type of stories do you write?
I write fantasy for Young Adult and Adult readers.
What are you working on right now?
I'm revising a villain origin story for the Faery Queen in the ballad of Tam Lin. Comps are Heartless or Sea Witch meet Holly Black and Seanan McGuire.
