Oh wow. I like how voicey the opening is... and was not expecting that ending.

Lots of twists in this story. You don't know where it's going until you get to the brutal ending which totally caught me off guard.

Wow, that ending packed a punch! I knew something was coming from the great build up, but wasnt expecting that!

The opening felt so deeply personal and real. You showed us the tip of so many backstory icebergs. There was, admittedly, a moment where I thought the lady in the shack was the mom, because they'd just been talking about her. Obviously I figured it out when they called her hot :-).

Wow, that ending! My mouth literally fell open.

I realized I read this and even linked to it in my blog, but missed commenting on it! I love the dark creepiness here and the reveal/twist. I'm curious what happens with the character's brother at the end. Can't wait to see it develop!
