WIM Summer 2021

Week 4: The Final Draft

We made it friends! It’s the week of the final draft! Through all of the pain and strife, the final feedback has been given, and hopefully it’s been wonderful feedback that has fueled your creative engine to make your piece the best that it can be!

This week is historically my toughest week because I’m all written out and the feedback from the editors can feel overwhelming. But stay strong, you’re almost at the finish line! If you’re feeling stuck, drained, or out of sorts, take a look back at your first draft and see how far you’ve come! Your editors feedback is special. They know how to pull the best out of what’s already amazing!

Remember, this is the final push! Stay strong, you’ve got this! As always, post links to your stories in the comments, and be proud of what you’ve written! It takes a lot of courage to make it this far, and you’ve made it! Congrats!
