WIM Summer 2021

Week 5: Looking Back On Round Four

It's the Final Countdown!

Thank you all x3000 for being part of Writer In Motion this summer!

Because of you, round four has been an amazing and unforgettable journey. We had more editors, writers, and readers participate than ever before.

We’re inspired by your courage and vulnerability in sharing your writing process with the world. All the hard work you channeled into brainstorming, planning, and crafting each revision reveals the kind of dedication it takes to make a story shine.

Sharing our work can be scary, especially when it comes to that messy first draft, but there’s also beauty in the process. After the past few weeks of revisions, your works have blossomed into stories overflowing with thrills, courage, and soul.

We hope you made lasting connections with fellow writers and learned that sharing the rawest versions of your messy drafts can only strengthen them further.

So, take a breath. Pat yourself on the back. Celebrate this ink and paper victory. You’ve done that thing you weren’t sure you could do, and it all came out beautifully in the end.

YOU DID IT.

But before we pop open the cigars and bottles of bubbly, let’s take a peek at final reflections on round four. You can find them in the comments below or in our forum.

Thank you and congratulations on a story well written! We look forward to seeing all of you again for round five!!

Hey Writers! Whenever your final reflections  are posted, share the link in the comments below so readers can thoroughly stalk you and your work.

Hello everyone! Here is the link to my final reflections on this round of WIM and as promised the messy first draft/chapter of Ryatt’s backstory, straight from the Bulletproof Beck manuscript. 😉
